Chopsticks was one of the first songs I learned to play before I even started learning to play the piano. There were two parts to learn so you could play it as a duet. I didn’t know anything about piano keys or reading music at that time.
I had a some friends who were taking piano lessons and they showed me how to play it. I loved playing it with them.
Then one day my parents bought me a piano and I started playing the duet by myself and that seemed kind of boring as I didn’t have anyone to play it with me and then the thought came to me, I wonder if I can play both parts by myself?
