Course Outline
Level 1B Beginning Piano
What you will learn:
We will continue to hone our Masterclass technique used by Master Pianist and Composer Franz Lizst to develop a professional sound so you can sound amazing!
We will start adding full octave scales
We will be adding more notes in the left hand and gradually adding more hands together playing.
You will learn to count at a more advanced level so you can become a better sight reader.
Easy Note reading skills (notes intoduced gradually so there is no overwhelm).
Tons of metronome, teacher accompaniment and orchestrated accompaniment piano practice so you can learn to play evenly and feel the beat of the music.
Flats, Sharps, and Naturals
Cross Overs, Tuck Unders; Staccato; Fingering, Accent Marks
In this course I will continue to remind you of masterclass technique skills that are rarely taught by most piano teachers. How to shift weight so you can play more challenging pieces.
This course will not only introduce these concepts but give you plenty of material to APPLY what you learn.
Once completed, you will be ready to start Level 2A!
Module 1 --New Note Left Hand G
More practice with flats, alternating hands with middle C, skipping and stepping and pick up beats.
Module 2- Thirds
Thirds, sharps, flats, moving hand position and rhythm taps.
Module 3 -New Note
New note left hand F, Rhythm Taps, Technique
Module 4 - Pickup Beats
More practice with left hand F, 3/4 time rhythm, skips and steps.
